Curaçao e-Gaming is the holder of the Master Gambling License, so it is also the body that can revoke any sub-licenses it issued to its licensees.

Some people argue that a Curaçao  gambling license is no real protection for players. They also say that, in order to be protected from scams and frauds from rough casinos you should always check whether an external certification, concerning the games that are offered, is in place. Let us say that we do not share those concerns for a number of good reasons:

a) Curaçao  is the home to a huge number of online casino operators, representing a big chunk of the worldwide industry. b) If you believe that there are more reputable jurisdictions out there, you should check the press. For instance, the Maltese                   gambling market has been hit by multiple and severe scandals in recent times, involving, among the others, bribery allegations         for senior public officers and the murder of a journalist (apparently commissioned by a top ranking figure of the local casino             industry).

c) Independent certifiers are private business entities, that are paid by online casinos to release their certifications. In other                   words, online casinos pay these entities to obtain a certification about the fact that the games offered by them are honest and         truly random. Unlike external audit procedures for public companies, there is no a government authority that supervises that           field. Do these entities have civil liability if, after a regular investigation, it turns out that their certifications were not accurate ?

Our point here is that if you are really concerned about players' protection, you ought to rely on the history, on the experience, and on the reputation of the specific gambling operator. As we said in the lines above, money grabs are always short plays that do not work in the long run.
